Day 2

Long day through amazing country - unexpected alpine-like pine trees and greenery after recent rains. Great track riding with lots of dry creek crossings for variety.

Picked up water where we dropped it off on Saturday night, near the turn off too Merna Mora station. Merna Mora offer camping and cabins, an ideal distance from Wilpena Pound. We pushed on to a bush camp further down the road.

Rode for 5:16. total of 91km, avg 17.2km/h
