Update from Wrighty

Day 2
Saw a tough ride by the Mawson Mob covering a total of 90km of mostly hilly rocky terrain. Very taxing. Slept at old ruins and had batten down the hatches with the amazing strong winds. Crowdy wins brown jersey for burning glove

Day 3
Wrightys knee is in a bit of bother so todays ride is less strenous but enjoyable . Spend night in Hawker where the Banjos play loudly. Plenty of ice on patelar
Maslen takes the jersey for reasons I cant remember !!!!!!

Day 4
Rode to the camp spot of the trip to date. On a creek bed, big fire and yes day one of cricket over the radio that night. Life is good- Wrighty thought.

Day 5
10KMS out of spot, 30km from next town Wrighty knee implodes. Boys take affirmitative action and take all his gear and push him into town. Yes one each side , hand on his back and pushed him, wheeling along. They did this for approx I hr had some jam sandwiches and then flew him home. An amazing effort as Wright could not ride. Maaaslen Slee and Crowdy are legends.
Crowdy back to back winner of jersey for opening beer,putting lid back on cross threading the lid , putting back in carton and making a mess and trying to blame Slee. Clear winner. Our first back 2 back winner. Texted the ABC cricket and they read a message over the cricket broadcast. We have gone international !!!!!!! Wrighty left in Quorn and bussing to Clare to catch up with the boys in a few days. Ice and Rest order of the days.
